Our practice is also the only one in Dallas to boast two members of the esteemed teaching department at Baylor College of Dentistry, where both doctors serve on the Department of Graduate Orthodontics teaching faculty. Genecov Orthodontics was established in Dallas in 1960 by Dr. Edward R. Genecov. In keeping with their vision of a family related practice, Dr. Jeffrey S. Genecov joined his father at Genecov Orthodontics in 1987, and also established a second practice in Plano in 1991. At Genecov Orthodontics, we use state-of-the-art technologies to provide the most efficient and comfortable braces, “memory” wires and X-ray techniques to reduce your exposure.For patients who may have postponed getting braces for cosmetic reasons, we also offer clear removable aligners (such as Invisalign® or OrthoClearTM), clear ceramic brackets and invisible braces that are applied behind the teeth. While we pride ourselves on helping our patients achieve beautiful and healthy smiles, that’s only part of what we do here at Genecov Orthodontics. Our doctors are also well known for their orthodontic contribution of the correction of congenital facial deformities. Using our expertise in the reconstructive surgical correction of craniofacial patients with cleft lip, cleft palate and other genetic facial deformities, we help prepare patients for various surgeries necessary to create facial balance, better function and improved lifestyle and self-esteem.
